News Discussion #1

The New York Times - September 4, 2008

"Google At Age 10" - I think this news articles isn't exactly news worthy. I guess its ok because it provides statistics that may be interesting for research, but otherwise, it's not that important. All it says is that Google is great, and that's already evident to everyone we don't need to read about it in a news article.

I am really not sure how this article suggests the development's effect on others. I guess it is effective because google is so large and takes over the way we do things in our life through using the internet, etc.

There isn't necessarily a viewpoint being expressed in this article, just statistics and the facts are hard to argue with or think otherwise of, so I would have to agree with what this news article is displaying.

It is evident that google is one of the largest search engines on the web, shown through its evergrowing stature and additions and development over the past ten years. Today, everyone knows it and everyone uses it.
